It was also bred like the Tibetan type. But this variety has one extended brown gene, unlike the Tibetan, which has two extended brown genes.
As a result, breeding Rosettas together is almost 50% Rosetta, 25% Tibetan, and 25% Pharaoh Quail chicks.
This color pattern breed was developed by intercrossing Tibetans type with TexasA&M.
